Soundcard Oscilloscope

The PC based Soundcard Oscilloscope receives its data from the Soundcard with 44.1kHz and 16 Bit resolution. The data source can be selected in the Windows mixer (Microphone, Line-In or Wave). The frequency range depends on the sound card, but 20-20000Hz should be possible with all modern cards. The low frequency end is limited by the AC coupling of the line-in signal. Be aware, that most microphone inputs are only mono. The oscilloscope contains in addition a signal generator for 2 channels for sine, square, triangular, sawtooth wave forms and different noise spectra in the frequency range from 0 to 20kHz. The signal can be defined by a mathematical formula as well. The signals are available at the speaker output of the sound card. These can be fed back to the oscillocope in order to generate Lissajous figures in the x-y mode.


A very clever interface to connect digital calipers to a PC via USB. A digital read out can be made for mills and lathes using the Caliper2PC software. The software is freeware and contains a virtual interface for testing the software's features without the hardware. Caliper2PC is a digital readout for milling machines, lathes and other tooling machines. The hardware facilitates to read out a variety of encoder types according to the resolution needed. The data is sent to a PC via USB and is processed by the Caliper2PC software. Time critical tasks are processed by the hardware, while computing power consuming tasks run on the PC.


This software is a convenient sound generator that has a lot of settings and allows you to quickly check almost any component of digital equipment (hardware or software). The supported sampling frequency of the LF-Generator program is 44 kHz, the data format is float IEEE32.

Digital signal generator

The Digital Signal Generator includes a sine wave generator, a square wave generator, a triangle wave generator, a white noise generator, a beat generator, and a sinusoidal sweep generator. The type of useful signal can be selected directly or through the auxiliary program menu. In the modest settings there are fields for entering the sampling frequency, the wavelength and some other possibilities of the output signals of different forms.
